Muskogee's Own Colton and Zach Swon --- better known as the Swon Brothers -- are topping the music charts with their recently released album "Nashlahoma."
The album that hit number 8 on the country music charts in less than a day, and the brothers say the songs were inspired by their time in Nashville and the Sooner State.
"It's kind of written from the heart and Oklahoma is definitely the inspiration everything that we write," said Zach.
The brothers say releasing an album in the middle of pandemic has been difficult because they cannot perform at their regular venues or go on tour.
"We're ready to see people in person and play venues, but for the most part, we've had a lot of fun doing online shows, online concerts, new takeovers, and doing zooms. I don't know what zoom was until this year!" Colton told News on 6.
Since fans can't come to their shows, the band of brothers said they are bringing their new Tailgate Tour directly to fans.
"We teamed up with James Hodge Ford of Muskogee, and we said we must keep touring. We can’t just take a year off. So basically, we are going directly to the fans," Colton explained, "and we play it safe distances and, literally, play Swon Brothers shows in people's driveways."
"The truck becomes the stage and when it's over we get out of there and stay safe," Zach added.
News On 6 asked the brothers if they had any message to their loyal fans in Oklahoma. “We love you," Zach said. "Thanks so much for everything! This has been a crazy text here and you got two brothers who are praying for you and we cannot wait to be back in Oklahoma rocking out for you guys!” Colton added.
