An EF1 tornado was confirmed in Stilwell around 6 a.m. Wednesday, the National Weather Service said.

Adair County has been dealing with storms all Wednesday morning, which have caused damage to some buildings in the community.

Adair County emergency management crews say the biggest issue isn’t the wind damage, but the continued flooding. Diane Hall Adair with emergency management said they want people to be extra cautious when it comes to driving through water.
