2 Charged In Federal Court With Shooting, Attempted Carjacking

Two men arrested in connection to a double homicide in Broken Arrow are now charged with a previous crime.

Federal prosecutors said they shot a victim ten times while trying to carjack him.

Earlier this month, prosecutors said 20-year-old Hunter Hobbs and 18-year-old Denim Blount threatened someone trying to hook up to a trailer. When the victim didn’t do what they said, prosecutors said both men shot him, then left him there.

The victim survived, despite being shot multiple times with a rifle and a shotgun.

At this time, nobody has been charged in the double murder in Broken Arrow. The victims’ names have not been released.
