The Tulsa Area United Way's Day of Caring Food and Blood Drive kicks off on Friday morning.

Dozens of Green Country businesses and organizations will accept food donations from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The United Way said it is mostly in need of canned food, peanut butter, rice and pasta.
