Several Tulsans will show their support for the LGBTQ+ community at Guthrie Green to top off a weekend of Pride.
Sunday's Pride Picnic event will have vendors selling shirts and accessories, along with several food trucks and entertainment. Oklahomans for Equality estimates at least 30,000 people are taking part in this weekend's celebration. Tulsa Pride Director Kao Morris says this weekend sends a powerful message to the community.
"Pride is for all of our different identities to come together and have this feeling of support and that feeling of love and safety," said Morris.
The picnic is from 1 to 5 and organizers say anyone is welcome to attend.
