A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Tuesday for the new Community Life Center at Trinity Woods.
Mayor G.T. Bynum will lead the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Trinity Woods, formerly known as Oklahoma Methodist Manor, is home to nearly 400 people and is located just off 31st Street between Harvard and Yale.
Over the past three years, it has invested more than $30 million replacing its 40 assisted living apartments, and on Tuesday, it is unveiling its new 14,000 square foot Community Life Center.
There will be live theater, concerts, games and more.
Back in June, leaders announced the new name, Trinity Woods. They say it celebrates an evolution from a nursing home to a Life Plan Community.
CEO Steve Dickie said the new Community Life Center "will be the hub of campus life and provide opportunities for everyone to be active and engaged."
