Tulsa Dog Advances To Top 3 In People Magazine’s ‘World's Cutest Rescue Dog’ Contest

A Tulsa dog is moving on up in the national spotlight.

Jennifer and Matt Porter adopted Aslan, a Chow Chow, last December and now he has advanced to the final round in People Magazine’s World’s Cutest Rescue Dog contest.

Aslan was the first dog from Oklahoma to make it into the top ten, and now that he’s in the final three, it will be up to judges to decide the winner.

The Porters adopted Aslan from Puppy Haven rescue in Tulsa, who said he was in rough shape after being abandoned by a previous owner.

The voting is now over, but you can continue to follow Aslan’s story with us at News On 6.
