48-Year-Old Woman Dies In Creek County Motorcycle Crash

A Perkins woman died in a Creek County motorcycle crash on Sunday, authorities say.

Jennifer Jackson, 48, was the passenger on the motorcycle driven by a 34-year-old man around 1 a.m., according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

OHP said Jackson and the man were riding south on E. 840 Road near Stroud when they approached a curve too fast and lost control.

The motorcycle went off the road and rolled almost two times.

Medical personnel declared Jackson dead at the scene.

The driver was taken to an OKC hospital in fair condition, OHP said.

Neither wore a helmet during the crash, reports show.
