Many residents south of Rock Creek are experiencing a water outage today as the City of Sapulpa works to replace a valve at the water storage tank, according to police.

Police say this repair is expected to take several hours and they do not have an estimate for when water will be restored.

Officials are urging residents to refrain from calling 911 or the nonemergency line with questions about when water will be restored

The Sapulpa Police Department's dispatch and 911 center are also unable to provide additional information regarding the outage.
