City Council Approves Plan To Use $20 Million In Taxes To Build Rocket Engine Testing Facility In Tulsa

The Tulsa City Council has approved using $20 million in tax money to help a rocket engine testing company build a facility.

Agile Space Industries will build the facility on Tulsa Airport land near the Amazon Fulfillment Center.

The company will test rocket engines that would be used in lunar landers, military satellites and missile defense systems.

The facility will also serve as an anchor for a larger Tulsa Space Park in the future.
