Snowfall Expected As Winter Weather System Moves Through Oklahoma

Snow is on the way Sunday and it looks like it will start right around 4 a.m. in Tulsa.

Roads could be slick throughout the morning but the snow pattern will move through fairly quickly tapering off in the afternoon and evening with temperatures falling into the 20s on Monday morning. Snow is expected to begin in northwest Oklahoma just after midnight and it will move southeast throughout the morning. The heaviest snow in the Tulsa area will be in the morning/midday hours. We are projecting 2-4" for northeast Oklahoma and up to 8" for the northwest part of the state.

As always with snowy and icy weather we could see some slick roads in untreated areas, keep a watchful eye Monday morning as temps remain low.
